Bahamas
Chanelle Brown departed the post of third secretary and vice consul on Nov. 10.
Joshua Sears departed the post of ambassador in November.
Iceland
Albert Jónsson became ambassador of Iceland to the United States on Nov. 2, replacing Helgi Agustsson, who departed the post on Oct. 30. Ambassador Jónsson previously served as ambassador and special advisor to the foreign minister (2004-06), foreign policy advisor to the prime minister (1991-2004), and executive director of the Icelandic Commission on Security and International Affairs (1988-91), for which he was also a researcher (1980-82). In addition, he was a television and radio journalist for the Iceland Broadcasting Service (1984-88) and has been an external lecturer in international politics at the University of Iceland since 1983. Ambassador Jónsson holds a bachelors degree in history and political science from the University of Iceland and a masters degree in international relations from the University of London. He is married to Ása Baldvinsdóttir and has two children, Baldvin and Auour.
Luxembourg
Marc Godefroid assumed the position of consul, replacing Monique Thill.

Peru
Felipe Ortiz de Zevallos Madueno became ambassador of Peru to the United States on Sept. 11. Ambassador Ortiz previously served as president of the Universidad del Pacífico since 2004, and founder and chairman of the Grupo Apoyo, a consulting, publishing and polling organization, since 1997. In addition, he was the founding editor of the magazine Perú Económico, chairman of the Eisenhower Fellowships Nominating Committee Peru and its Advisory International Council, as well as a member of the board of various organizations and universities. Ambassador Ortiz is also the author of several books about Peru, both in English and Spanish, a lecturer at local and international meetings, and a guest columnist in magazines and newspapers. An industrial engineer by training, he holds a masters degree in management from the University of Rochester in New York and is a graduate of the Owner/President Management Program (OPM) at Harvard Business School.
Uzbekistan
Djakhongir Irgashev departed the post of third secretary, consul, on Sept. 30.
Qadamboy Sultanov assumed the position of attaché on Oct. 1 having previously served in the American Desk at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
