Davidovic has previously worked in the prime minister’s office as spokesman and chief of staff. From 1992 t1998, he was general manager of Meridian, a freight-forwarding and foreign trade firm. Davidovic graduated from Banja Luka University Law School in 1982. He is married and has twchildren. Embassy of Dominican Republic Raissa Melgen has taken the post of first secretary. Embassy of Estonia Blaine Carvalnhas taken the post of administrator. Carvalnwas previously a Peace Corps volunteer in Estonia. Douglas Wells has left the post of administrator. Embassy of Israel David Ivry has taken the post of ambassador tthe United States. Ivry spent the last year as Israel’s national security advisor and head of the National Security Council. From 1996 t1999, he served as principal assistant minister of defense for Strategic Affairs. He spent 10 years as director-general of the Ministry of Defense, and from 1977 t1982, he held the rank of major general and commander of the Israeli Air Force. Maleta previously worked in the Ministry of Foreign and International Affairs. M.M. Kumbatira has left the post of first secretary. Embassy of Nigeria Jibril Aminu has taken the post of ambassador tthe United States. Aminu has spent most of his professional career as a doctor and professor. He received his doctorate from the Royal London Hospital in 1972. From 1979 t1995, he was professor of medicine at University of Maiduguri. From 1985 t1989, he was the federal minister of education in Nigeria. Aminu was born in 1939 and is married tFatima Bukar Mulima Aminu. Embassy of the Philippines Lourdes Yparroguirre has taken the post of first secretary and consul. Yparraguirre was special assistant tthe undersecretary for international economic relations from 1997 t2000. Laura Del Rosarihas left the post of minister.
